This Week in Collaborations...

WANGxHM

ALEXANDER WANG x H&M

While randomly checking my email at 4am on Sunday (I wasn't just getting to bed-I woke up to pee, jeez louise!) I received the press release announcing that on November 6th, 2014 ALEXANDER WANG's collection will be available in 250 H&M stores worldwide! The recently-crowned creative director at Balenciaga's new project will feature both apparel and accessories, which I'm sure will have everyone wondering- will there be a handbag?

SOPHIA WEBSTER x J CREW

I've been a fan of Sophia Webster's work since she debuted her collection last year after working as design assistant to Nicholas Kirkwood. I may already have these and these and these but that won't stop me from adding more pairs to my collection soon. Her upcoming collaboration with J Crew includes 30 different styles to choose from, only making my shoe closet additions more inevitable. They will be available in store and online at the end of the month.

PROENZA SCHOULER x MAC

PROENZA SCHOULER x M.A.C.

I'm not usually a huge makeup freak, the packaging was the first thing in reeling me in for this upcoming collaboration based on Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough's and Lazaro Hernandez’s spring/summer 2010 collection. The second thing? The Blush Ombre—“The color looks strong in the compact, but on the skin, it’s soft, muted, and youthful, like you've just been running.” I'll take it! Available for purchase online April 21, and in stores April 24.
